  • Acclimatize to the high altitude.
  • Light walk around Leh Market and Shanti Stupa.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

  • Visit Thiksey Monastery (similar to Potala Palace in Lhasa).
  • Explore Hemis Monastery, known for its annual festival.
  • Visit Shey Palace and Stok Palace for panoramic views.
  • Return to Leh for overnight stay.

Day 3 : Leh to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La)

  • Drive through the Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), one of the world’s highest motorable passes.
  • Arrive in Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery and the giant Maitreya Buddha.
  • Experience the sand dunes at Hunder with a camel ride.
  • Overnight stay in Nubra (camp or guesthouse).

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

  • Drive to Pangong Lake (via Shyok route or Wari La Pass if open).
  • Enjoy the mesmerizing blue waters of the lake.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh (via Chang La)

  • Depart early to return to Leh, passing through Chang La Pass (5,360 m).
